The Great Dark Owl

Here is a poem I wrote one night. It's about a spooky owl. I hope you enjoy it!

Have you seen the great dark owl,
who always bears an ugly scowl?
No one can bear his menacing stare,
that he casts down the long, dark, hall.

Have you seen the great dark owl,
who always bears an ugly scowl?
He never hoots, but always shoots
his shadow down the hall.

Have you seen the long, black, shadow,
he casts along the floor?
It never moves, not even a bit.
Yet it still strikes fear
into all who enter it.

Have you seen the dark owl's face,
with not one feather out of place?
It has big, round, eyes that never blink.
And furry eyebrows, across his face they slink.

Do beware the great, dark, owl
who always bears an ugly scowl.
Do beware its long, black, shadow
that never, ever, fears a thing.
But most of all, beware the owl's face,
with no one feather out of place.
